Evening at the Guggenheim (Bilbao)

The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao was designed by architect Frank Gehry and is wrapped in 33,000 titanium panels meant to mimic the scales of a fish. Anish Kapoor’s iconic Tall Tree & The Eye sits just outside, composed of 73 suspended, reflective spheres that constantly mirror the sky and river. The spheres are lightweight and hollow - carefully designed to look like they are defying gravity while shifting their reflections depending on the weather. During summer, they spray cooling mist around the water (which is when I captured this shot)
